The Owen Sound Memoir Series

 

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Owen Sound Memoir Series is to celebrate stories of Canadian diversity and teach writing skills to soon-to-be memoirists.

 

Founder & Organizer:

Arlen Wiebe is a writer and editor, musician, and event planner.

As a personal historian, he helps people research and write their life stories (your-life-stories.ca).

Arlen has taught music for more than 15 years. In 2023, he co-founded the annual Choir Camp event, a week-long choral education and performance event, held every July in Owen Sound (choircamp.wordpress.com).

Arlen grew up in Winnipeg, spent his early teenage years in Fresno, California, and has made Owen Sound his home with his wife and daughter since 2006
